Hey, I'm kenzie

I grew up in the small town of Berlin Heights Ohio, where a trip to the grocery store meant driving over 30 minutes. I had a big backyard, plenty of room to wander, and a grandpa who was always bringing home porch flowers. Some of my favorite childhood memories are rooted in simple, ordinary things. I’ve always been more of an observer than the loudest person in the room, and I think that’s one of the things that naturally drew me to photography. I notice the little things-the way the light falls, the quiet moments between people, the details you might not realize you’ll want to remember someday.

I’ve loved digital art and photography for as long as I can remember, but photography became something more when I got my first camera for my 16th birthday. My dream is to travel the world, camera in hand, and photograph the places and people I find along the way. I have family in beautiful Big Stone Gap, Virginia, which has given me an even deeper love for the mountains and the feeling of being surrounded by nature.

I love the fall, anything pumpkin, flowers, spending time with animals, or making a Dunkin’ run. And if you have a dog, please bring them to your session-I will probably be just as excited to meet them as I am to photograph you.

Most importantly, I want my photography space to feel like a place where you can be completely yourself. I’m LGBTQ+ friendly, and I strive to create a safe, welcoming environment for everyone. My faith is a big part of who I am, and I believe deeply in loving people without judgment.
